The Austrian chancellor impressed by the Bulgarian fight against corruption

The Austrian chancellor Alfred Gusenbauer shared his expectations that the European Commission shall ascertain the reached improvement made by Bulgaria and free its access to the euro findings. He noted that the most complicated issue before Bulgaria is the set up of administrative structures for work with the European funds and institutions. According to Mr Gusenbauer, who is in Bulgaria on official visit, the Bulgarian adaptation process for work with the euro funds has noticeably improved. During the joint press conference with Bulgaria's Prime Minister Mr Sergey Stanishev the Austrian chancellor stated that Bulgaria has improved its internal security and court system. Mr Gusenbauer's personal evaluation of Bulgaria's economic and financial system claims that they are in very good position.
